Today’s free 2D textures are once again from Zuhria Alfitra, an indie game developer from Yogyakarta in Indonesia.
His texture pack is full of tiling textures for platform or adventure games that take place in desert settings. The collection includes a seamlessly tiling background with sand dunes and a pyramid, a crate, an animal carcass, a signpost, plants, trees, a cacti and much more. There are 18 tiles, 14 objects & decorative items and 1 seamlessly tiling background in total.
Zuhria’s textures are available in a lot of formats, from ready-to-use PNG files to SVG files, so that you can edit the source vector files if you download Inkscape (a free vector-graphics editing application). It should be straightforward to use these textures in Unity, GameSalad, GameMaker, Cocos2D and other game engines.
The textures are licensed under Creative Common Zero which means that they are free to use in both personal and commercial projects.

Available file formats: CDR (CorelDraw), Illustrator AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, SVG, PNG
All of the textures are also available in vector format this time, so that you can resize them without quality loss if you have access to Adobe Illustrator. Alternatively, just download Inkscape which is an excellent free vector editing application.
As usual, Kenney’s textures are available with Creative Common Zero, so you can use them for free in both personal and commercial projects. If you like his textures, we encourage you to support his work with a donation.
The textures are supplied in a single PSD file, so if you need individual textures or a texture atlas you will need access to Adobe Photoshop.
Raul’s textures are available with a very liberal license which means that they are free to use in both personal and commercial projects.
